Prof. Dr. Suasmoro. was born in Pemalang in 1955. Completed his undergraduate education (1979) and master (1988) majoring in materials science at the ENSCI-Limoges France, and S3 (2002) majoring in materials science at Univ. Limoges, France. Since 1980 he has been a teaching staff in the physics department of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya.
